What You’ll Do
Assessing clients with various developmental disabilities and needs, developing treatment plans, providing and/or supervising the implementation of ABA therapy to children and adolescents in the home and community settings, maintaining data and making treatment decisions based on progress, providing training to employees and families, coordinating and/or attending pertinent meetings with community providers, and maintaining client records and documentation from intake to discharge. BCaBAs will receive ongoing supervision by a BCBA in accordance with the BACB. The BCaBA maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Operations Director.
Experience with implementing functional behavior assessments with children with autism.
Strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments.
Conducting language, play, daily living, and skill-based assessments.
Designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula.
Provides supervision and oversight of technicians. Collecting, graphing, analyzing, displaying, and discussing data-based progress.
Knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis which includes:
General behavioral assessment.
Strong ethical standards.
Knowledge of the behavioral impact of developmental disabilities:
Cognitive
Educational
Vocational
Social challenges
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
Effective and creative negotiator and problem solver.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet FL’s driving requirements

A bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of marriage and family therapy, child development, special education, psychology, or related field.
BCaBA Certification, or similar
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, NET, and other ABA strategies.
Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Moderate to high stress levels.
Work fluctuates between a clinical, office, and home environment.
Regular contact with Parent / Guardian community members and outside agency personnel.
Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior.
Ability and willingness to travel between client locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner.
